Naming a Premium Brand
I was asked to develop name options for a new upscale, premium jewelry brand. The committee chose “SY by Simply You”, which was my pick as well. The inspiration for the name came from so many other renowned designer collections that incorporate initials: for example CK One (Calvin Klein), DKNY (Donna Karan New York), KL by Karl Lagerfield, etc.
I was also responsible for developing the glamorous “Valesca” necklace and bracelet shown here – which became the cover look of the Spring/Summer catalog.
